This multi fauceted show brings you the legendary hits of Buddy Holly and Billy Fury, Peggy Sue, That'll Be the Day, Oh Boy, Rave on Heartbeat, Maybe Baby TrueLove Ways, Halfway To Paradise, Jealousy, Like I've Never Been Gone, Only Make Believe, the list is endless.
Steve Conrad and Tony Davey put a lot of thought into the content of the show so that it was'nt just another Buddy Holly or Billy Fury Tribute, each tribute has a unique link or connection to other 50's nostalgia, which sets this show apart as a tribute to the Kings of Rock N Roll.
The Billy Fury tribute features cameo appearances, by Tony Davey as Dickie Pride, Cliff Richard, and Marty Wilde, reminiscent of the 50’s Oh Boy TV Show, and the singers who formed part of the Larry Parnes Stable. The Billy Fury Tribute also features the Hit Single Telstar, which was peformed by Billy Fury's backing band The Tornadoes. It was the first single by a British band to reach number one, in the US Billboard Hot 100 and was also a hit in the UK. Named after the AT & T communications satellite, Telstar was written and produced by Joe Meek.
The Buddy Holly Tribute also features cameo appearances by Steve Conrad as Ritchie Valance, and Bobby Vee who at the tender age of 16 replaced Buddy Holly’s on the Illfated 1959 winter dance party tour which saw the loss of three of the 50’s Brightest Rock N Roll Stars. The Buddy Holly Tribute also features the Santo and Johnny Guitar Instrumental Sleepwalk which was played throughout the film based on the life of Ritchie Valance.
The Show culminates in a salute to other rock n roll greats from the 50’s with classics from, Chuck Berry, Jerry Lee Elvis Presley Gene Vincent, Eddie Cochran, Johnny Kidd, Little Richard , Carl Perkins Rick Nelson, and The Shadows.
